A friend encouraged me to throw off my inertia and go to the Pioneer Square Art Walk last night, and I’m very glad I did. Our clear favorite of all the work we viewed was the sculpture of Casey Curran, which we viewed at Gallery IMA. We saw the Oceania work, which I was trying but unable to embed here — definitely go view it because it’s so beautiful — but I also found the above video of some earlier works. They are amazing and fun and beautiful, and I would love to see them all sell, sell, sell.
Mary,
These are really cool.
Even without the motion which is really great, they are like three dimensional drawings.
